ABLE
India's First Education Summit on Disability Inclusion
August 6-8, 2026 | Jaipur | India
The Story
Where this began
SHUKRAANA.
A few years ago, our founder, Ravi Santlani flew to Bangalore with no agenda. Just curiosity. He had heard about the India Inclusion Summit and wanted to see what a gathering built around disability and inclusion looked like.
He spent eight hours in a room. He left a different person.
The feeling he walked out with was not inspiration. Not motivation. It was gratitude. A deep, quiet, overwhelming gratitude for everything he had taken for granted his entire life. In Urdu there is a word for that feeling: Shukraana. Gratitude so complete it changes what you do next.
That is where ABLE begins. Not from a strategy meeting. Not from a trend report. From eight hours in a room. From one word. From a decision made knowing it would cost something.
"The inclusion conversation must reach school leaders. That is where it truly begins. That is where it truly begins, in the classroom.
The Theme
ONE WORD.
FOUR LETTERS.
EVERYTHING:
Not disabled. Not differently abled. Simply —
ABLE
ONE BILLION
people on this planet living with some form of disability. Many have never sat in a classroom. Many who did were never truly seen. This year, Global Ed-Fest is dedicated to them — not with sympathy, not with charity, but with conviction.
01
Ability is the default
Every child arrives in this world capable. The question is never whether the child can. The question is whether we built the room right.
02
Inclusion is architecture
It is not a ramp added after the building is finished. It is in the blueprint. In the curriculum. In how the teacher is trained to see.
03
Schools change communities
The school that includes every child does not just serve that child. It sends a message to the entire neighborhood about who belongs.
The Jaipur Commitment
THE CITY ITSELF BECOMES
part of the story.
No other education conference in India has ever done this. Global Ed-Fest 2026 is working with Jaipur’s civic authorities, hospitals, heritage sites, and major institutions to make the Pink City more accessible for people with disabilities.
Not just for three days in August. For the long term.
When you attend this festival, you are not just entering a conference hall. You are becoming part of a commitment that outlives the event itself. The delegates who come to ABLE in August will return to their cities carrying a documented framework for accessibility — a model they can take back and replicate in their own school campuses, their own towns.
The commitment includes:
- Accessibility audits and improvements across civic institutions and heritage sites
- Hospital partnerships creating long-term inclusive infrastructure
- A city-wide coalition that continues after August 8th
- A documented legacy that school leaders can take back to their own cities
The Partnership
A FATHER. A SON.
A MOVEMENT.
Ferose V R. currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of SAP Academy for Engineering, based in Palo Alto, California. Previously served as Managing Director of SAP Labs India, leading research and development at one of SAP’s global innovation centres, including pioneering initiatives like Autism at Work.
Every year, without fail, he flies from the US to India, delivers the India Inclusion Summit, and flies back. He does this because of his son Vivaan. Vivaan is autistic. And Ferose took the most personal thing in his life and turned it into a movement that changes thousands of people every year.
Global Ed-Fest 2026 is officially partnered with the India Inclusion Foundation. Ferose will be in Jaipur in August. And this event will tell the world openly and proudly that it is inspired by what he built. Because the inclusion conversation must reach school leaders. That is where it truly begins.
INCLUSION
IS NOT JUST ACCOMMODATION
"Inclusion is not just about creating ramps. It is about creating mindsets. And that begins in the classroom."
"Rajasthan, with its rich heritage and culture, is the ideal setting for an educational gathering of this scale."
Our Lifelong Patron
TEN YEARS OF
LAKSHYARAJ SINGH MEWAR.
There is a story behind why Global Ed-Fest has always been in Jaipur. It begins not with a venue or a budget, but with a conversation at our very first conference in New Delhi, where a young prince from Udaipur walked up and said, simply: bring this to Rajasthan.
That was Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, fondly known as LKSM, Trustee of the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation, custodian of one of India’s most storied royal legacies, and the man who became the lifelong patron of ScooNews Global Ed-Fest.
In 2018, he not only opened his majestic palace in Udaipur to hundreds of educators, but secured a commitment from ScooNews to keep Rajasthan as the permanent home of this gathering. He has been present at every single edition since. He has spoken, he has introduced, he has stood on stage and told the world that education is Rajasthan’s most important inheritance.
Today, as we mark the tenth year of Global Ed-Fest, we also mark ten years of his steadfast belief in what we were building, before it had a track record, before five hundred school leaders were filling the room, before anyone called it the Davos of Education. This year, we celebrate not just a decade of the summit, but a decade of his extraordinary loyalty to this cause.
Beyond the Conference Hall
GLOBAL ED-FEST'S IMPACT ON JAIPUR:
Artisans. Heritage. Culture. Sustainability. Tourism.
Hosting Global Ed-Fest in Jaipur has never been only about bringing five hundred school leaders to a hotel. It has always been about what those five hundred people experience of Rajasthan, and what Rajasthan gains in return.
Local Artisans
Every trophy at Global Ed-Fest is carved from wood by local craftsmen, not a mass-produced acrylic award. Every souvenir is made by Rajasthan artisans. We replaced plastic with purpose, and in doing so ensured that part of every partner’s investment flows directly to the hands of local communities.
Heritage
We have taken our delegates to forts, to palaces, to the lanes of the old city. We have made Rajasthan’s history part of the Global Ed-Fest experience deliberately, because we believe the setting of a conversation shapes the quality of the thinking inside it.
Sustainability
Every year, we support the planting of over 10,000 trees through various nonprofits and offer tree plantation certificates in place of plastic souvenirs. Rajasthani folk artists take the stage instead of Western bands, and local cuisine replaces generic catering. Small choices that make a clear statement: a conference a good one, future of education should be organised in a way that is worth teaching.
Culture & Tourism
Delegates from across India and internationally have discovered Jaipur, Udaipur, and Rajasthan through Global Ed-Fest. Many return with their families. Several have brought their school tour groups. The cultural evening, Rajasthani music, dance, food, is consistently rated the most memorable moment of the entire three days.

WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT GLOBAL ED-FEST
THE ROOM SPEAKS
FOR ITSELF.
Your approach was absolutely inspiring. I walked away with so much knowledge and motivation from the Teacher Warrior award ceremony. A big thank you to ScooNews for shining a spotlight on NGOs like ours dedicated to improving education for children in slums.
Teacher Warrior 2025
The sessions and topics chosen were apt for the future of our teachers and students. The educators brought in were highly knowledgeable. Your acumen for organisational abilities and foresight into minute details is a testimony of your commitment to bring educators on one platform and bring a change in our education system.
Director, Narayana Education Group
Having attended many events in Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore, and other cities, I can confidently say that the seriousness and dedication involved in your event were particularly commendable. The discussions were not just engaging but also deeply serious and productive. It truly felt like the two days were well-spent.
Director, Holy Child Group of Schools
Great effort, visionary thoughts. Future of Education in India seems bright. Kudos to the brilliant Co-chairs, superb fellow speakers, and the one man army Ravi Santlani — the man behind the show.
CEO, DCM Group of Schools
I had the privilege of attending SGEF 2024, an incredibly enriching experience. The event brought together visionary educators, thought leaders, and innovators from across the country. The hospitality and vibrant culture of Jaipur also added a unique flavour to the conference.
Head of Senior School, The Millennium School Dubai
Organising speakers into different tracks was amazing. It was difficult to go around as all speakers were brilliant. Above all I was so happy to see early years, which is often missed, was given a platform.
Co-Chairman, Satluj Public School
Word from the Founder
TEN YEARS AGO, I STARTED
THIS BECAUSE SOMEONE
HAD TO.
We were not the biggest.
We were not the most funded.
We did not have the backing of a large media house.
What we had was belief.
A belief that India’s school leaders deserved a platform that asked hard questions, brought the right people together, and sent them back with something that would change how they showed up on Monday morning. Ten years later, I look at this room with gratitude.
The people who come here are not attendees.
They are leaders who refuse to run the same school they ran last year.
And the people who speak here are not keynote tourists.
They are practitioners, dealing with the same realities as everyone in this room.
This year, we chose a theme that costs us something.
Inclusion.
Inclusion.
