Because this is not a standard conference.

SGEF 2026 is built around disability inclusion, which means a meaningful part of our speaker and delegate community will be people with disabilities. That changes the entire infrastructure:

→ Accessible venues and washrooms → Wheelchair-friendly transport → Sign language interpreters → Sensory-friendly spaces → Caregiver support → Specially configured hotel rooms → Trained on-ground volunteers → Modified dining setups → Speaker logistics designed around individual needs

Your ticket also covers two full days of lunches and dinners, curated evening experiences with performances, speaker fees and travel, a printed compendium, and an inclusion framework your school takes home and uses.

The actual cost of delivering SGEF 2026 is significantly higher. What you pay is already subsidised by our founder trustees and the Friends of ABLE, who have contributed generously to make this possible.

Recognising that the cost of attending conferences in hotels and convention centres can be prohibitive, we have allocated 15% of our seats to government school leaders and budget private school principals, with full conference access and meals covered. Because inclusion starts with us.
