Sandy Mathewson

Sandy Mathewson was previously Head of Dania School, The Scandinavian School in London, which specialises in both sustainable learning and outdoor learning. He is also a member on the advisory board for CEM at Durham University. At Dania School he led the School from a ‘needs improvement’ with Ofsted to full membership of the Independent Schools Association, within 12 months of taking post, the first time this has ever been done.

He is passionate about the pupil voice and has recently successfully overseen The Glasgow Academy becoming the first school in The UK to be awarded the Gold Diana Award for anti-bullying.
