The ABLE Journey
Building inclusive schools,
one step at a time.
Take a five-minute survey. Get matched to a starting stage. Join schools across India moving toward genuine inclusion.
The ABLE Journey isn't a certificate you earn once. It's a staged, multi-year path — assessed honestly, tracked publicly, and built around what your school can realistically do this year, not everything at once. Every school starts where it actually is, not where it wishes it were.
The Path
The Four Stages
Open Eye
Awareness and honest self-assessment. Your school completes the Readiness Survey, names an Inclusion Champion, and does its first physical accessibility audit.
Open Door
Access becomes real, not aspirational. Ramps, signage, admissions policy, and a written response to the legally recognised categories of disability, plus ADHD.
Open Classroom
Teaching practice changes. Screening tools in use, IEPs in place for children who need them, and an Inclusion Champion actively supporting staff.
Open Community
Inclusion extends beyond the school gate — family engagement, community projects, and public commitment (the Jaipur Resolve).

Two Ways to Move Forward
Step 1
Take the Readiness Survey
A short 24-question survey to find out which stage your school is starting from. Takes about five minutes.

Submit Your Stage Evidence
Already on the Journey? Upload evidence for the stage you've completed. We review submissions and confirm your badge — this isn't automated, so allow a little time for a real response.
