Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation to the venue. If you are not staying at the Fest Hotel you are requested to make your own arrangements. Parking at the conference hotel site is free.

Of course! When you go to register people, just enter in “placeholder names” like Jane Placeholder and then enter a valid email address. When you do know who will be attending, give us a call on+91-9887533310 or send us an email on info@globaledfest.com with the complete details and we will update the details for you. Please note that all placeholder tickets must be assigned a valid name and related details before 31st July 2019 to get a printed delegate badge.

Once you are registered for the Fest and your payment is processed you will receive the printable version of the official receipt for your payment on your registered email. In case, you do not receive the email or are unable to locate the same, please send an email to accounts@scoonews.com with your registration/order number from the email address used to place the order.

We do not accept cheque payments for delegate registrations.

The Delegate registration includes Unconference fees, Lunches & Tea for both days and Conference kit.

We understand life happens. If you aren’t able to make it to the unconference, please contact us as soon as possible at info@globaledfest.com. If you have already registered, you can cancel before 15th July 2019 and receive a full refund after deduction of 5% towards the gateway and handling charges incurred by us. Please do mention your registration/order number and communicate using the email address used for the registration.

No refunds will be given for cancellations after 15th July 2019.

All ScooNews Global Educators Fest partners / media affiliates will get to meet and personally interact with the speakers.

We have already received delegate registrations from more than 10 countries.

We strongly recommend that you should stay at the Fest affiliated hotels as we have negotiated with them for a special price for delegates attending SGEF2019 as we believe that the best networking happens during the breakfast, early morning walks in the hotel, at swimming pools and at after parties!

However, you have the option to stay at any hotel near the venue. Tripadvisor is an excellent source to find more information on these hotels along with user feedback and ratings.

For delegates with residential SGEF2019 packages, please note that you can check-in to the hotel on 8nd August 2019 as per the timing provided on the hotel voucher. The check-out date will be 10th August 2019.


India offers a convenient eVisa facility for international travellers where they can secure a paperless visa online.


  1. International Travellers whose sole objective of visiting India is recreation, sightseeing, casual visit to meet friends or relatives, short duration medical treatment or casual business visit.
  2. Passport should have at least six months validity from the date of arrival in India. The passport should have at least two blank pages for stamping by the Immigration Officer.
  3. International Travellers should have a return ticket or onward journey ticket, with sufficient money to spend during his/her stay in India.
  4. International Travellers having Pakistani Passport or Pakistani origin may please apply for regular Visa at Indian Mission.
  5. Not available to Diplomatic/Official Passport Holders or Laissez-passer travel document holders.
  6. Not available to individuals endorsed on Parent’s/Spouse’s Passport i.e. each individual should have a separate passport.
  7. Not available to International Travel Document Holders.

All visiting delegates to ScooNews Global Education Fest are solely responsible for ensuring they have the correct visa or permission to enter India.

Press credential deadline

The deadline for press credential requests for the SGEF2019 is July 31, 2019.


We welcome professional journalists and education bloggers to the #SGEF2019 Unconference to gather ideas, network, and report on the conference or individual sessions by way of creating engaging content.

Here are the requirements to register as press:

  • Print, television, or radio journalists must present valid press credentials from their media outlet, editor, or local government. Note: A ScooNews staff member may accompany camera crews and photographers during the conference.
  • Freelance journalists must show proof of an editorial assignment.
  • Bloggers must show that their website produces original content.

Press badges

  • Press badges for credentialed media will be available after registration at the venue.
  • Registered media are required to wear press badges at all times when attending the SGEF2019 UnConference.

Press materials/events/interview requests

  • Interview requests may be made in advance by sending in a mail at info@globaledfest.com or visiting the SGEF2018 Media Lounge at the venue.
  • Press materials will be made available online and via a USB drive.
  • Events will be posted in advance of the conference.
  • Press releases and event information will be provided as they become available.
  • Press materials will also be available at the SGEF2018 Media Lounge at the venue.

Media Lounge

The SGEF2018 Media Lounge will have free Wi-Fi as well as access to electrical outlets. The Lounge will be open Friday, August 9, through Saturday, August 10, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
