Srinivasan Sriram

Mr. Srinivasan Sriram, is presently the Principal of The Mann School, Delhi. He took over the responsibility in July 2020. He was earlier the IT Administrator and Head of the Department of Computer Science at the famous Mayo College at Ajmer. He has 32 years of public-school teaching experience and 18 years of experience in IT Administration. He was instrumental in and chiefly credited with setting up one of the largest Campus wide LAN’s in the country at Mayo College.

He has helped the teachers in the inter-disciplinary way of teaching using ICT as a game changer. He has changed the way students learn today with the role of ICT as an aid to assist them with better conceptual understanding and exposure. He has rich experience in effecting various pedagogical approaches to instill 21st Century learning outcomes especially the 4Cs- Communication, Collaboration, Creativity and Critical Thinking.

Mr. Srinivasan Sriram is the recipient of the prestigious National Award for Teachers for Innovation in ICT from the President of India. He is also the recipient of the National Computer Literacy Excellence Award. He has also been awarded the KRD&WG Research and Excellence Award and School of Educators Award for Best Practice Innovation by AICOI. In 2015, he was selected as a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert chosen to represent India in the Educator Exchange Global forum at Redmond, USA. He was also selected as a member of the Global Expert Educator Program from SMART technologies in 2014. He has been a Resource Person for NCERT for ICT curriculum development and National Repository for Open Educational Resources. He has many other National Awards to his credit apart from ICT.

He has mentored many teacher forums and has been invited to speak at many events. He has shared his experiences among other teachers and helps them embrace best practices in ICT.
