Lalit is passionately engaged in developing innovative solutions using Digital technologies including AR/VR, AI/ML, Big Data Analytics, Cloud, and IOT. He is spearheading EON Reality AVR solutions’ adoption in the Indian market, including educational institutes, governments, and industry for skills, knowledge and Industry 4.0 trends.
Until 2014, Lalit served IBM for over 25 years in Australia, Singapore, India, and the USA, as a technologist, skills development mentor and innovation center director. He is accredited as a founder of IBM India’s software business and growing it to over 100 million dollars. Joining in Australia, he was later moved to Singapore to establish software innovation center in SingaLab (a Joint Venture with Singapore Government) and then to India to create and lead e-Business Solution Center to assist Telecom, Banking, Government, Manufacturing and Education organisations to embrace internet economy. He also served as the Profession Leader of Asia Pacific’s 40,000 Specialists for their skills development and invited to the Academy of Technology Leadership Team (a 95 member global “think-tank” representing 250,000 technologists). His last role at IBM was of a Global Consultant for Big Data and MACS (Mobile, Analytics, Social & Cloud).
Lalit holds multiple Degrees – Physics (Udaipur University), Computer Science (BITS Pilani India), Business (RMIT Australia), Executive Leadership (Cornell, USA) and Hon Fellowship (eISA, an Indian Industry body). He served CII’s Core Team for eCommerce, NASSCOM-Haryana CM Taskforce for Gurgaon development and eGovernance advisory boards of central govt and state governments of Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand. He co-founded Skills Gap Solutions, for developing digital technologies skills among students. He also serves as a mentor to startups and Venture Capital funds.
